This is the first page from a short story in the Infinite Wait & Other Stories, about some of the jobs I’ve had from age 4 to now. I got the idea to do this story after I recorded the Paying Dues podcast last year. There is some speculation in my memory about the price of the golf balls, but I very clearly remember my mom’s description of marriage and I still pretty much feel the same way about it.
